# Customizing Landing Pages

All Organization can choose where students, instructors and administrators land when they sign in. Organizations set up before the student, instructor, and administrator dashboards are set to default to My Training for students and Site Administration for instructors and administrators. After the dashboards became active, all new organizations are assigned to them by default.

## Student Landing Page

For students, you can choose one of the following for the Default Landing Page:

- **Default** – the My Training page
- **My Dashboard** - the student Dashboard
- **My Training** – currently is the same as Default
- Subscription – the On-Demand browser
- Class**Browser** – the Class Browser page
- **Custom** – requires the URL of the page you want as the landing page. This can be a page in the Skillable TMS or a Skillable TMS webpage.

## Instructor Landing Page

For instructors, you can choose one of the following for their Instructor Default Landing Page:

- **Not Set** - the Site Administration page
- **Instructor Dashboard** - the Instructor Dashboard
- **Custom** - requires the URL of the page you want as the landing page. This can be a page in the Skillable TMS or a Skillable TMS webpage.

## Administrator Landing Page

For Users with administrative functions, you can choose the following for the Admin Default Landing Page:

- **Default** – the Site Administration page
- **Site Admin** - the Site Administration page
- **Custom** – requires the URL of the page you want as the landing page. This can be a page in the Skillable TMS or a Skillable TMS webpage.

An organization is assigned to each entity in the TMS, such as, users, classes, subscriptions, and courses. The organization is a basis to determine access given based on roles within the organization and management over the organization.

Organizations are the containers in which all objects in Skillable Studio reside. Each organization has two child orgs, Development and Production. Development is used for content creation and testing. Production is used only for content that is ready for consumption. Organizations also provide one of the security boundaries within the Skillable Studio platform.

A subscription is an assignment to an individual for access to a set of courses for a set amount of time for self-paced access. Students can choose which courses to access from the subscription, which then open as a course assignment, and they can access the courses at any time for the duration of the subscription.

A class is a scheduled instructor-led event with a start and end time/date. Typically, these include lectures and hands on activities such as labs.

People who interact with the platform. Typically, we can break down users into three categories: Operations Managers, Instructors and Basic Users..
