# Docebo LTI Integration

Skillable currently supports LTI 1.1 integrations with Docebo training materials. Skillable labs can be seamlessly launched from a Docebo course through an LTI integrated training material.

Compared to other LTI integrations, integrating Skillable with Docebo is quick and straightforward. You can complete the setup with minimal configuration, making it one of the easiest ways to deliver labs through an LMS.

          API Consumer Requirements

          

**Note**: Each Docebo instance requires an API Consumer.

## Prerequisites

Make sure you have a Skillable Lab Profile configured prior to LTI integration. You'll pull the launch URL directly from your lab profile.

## Set Up a Docebo Integration via LTI

1. Request the consumer key and the shared secret by [opening a support ticket](https://www.skillable.com/customer-support/) with our Customer Support team.
2. After obtaining the consumer key and shared secret, log in to your Docebo instance as a Superadmin.
3. Use the **Admin menu** (indicated by a gear icon) in the top right corner to navigate to **E-LEARNING > Central Repository**.
4. On the right, click **New** (**+**) and then select **New training material**.
5. Select **LTI** as the training material type, and then click **NEXT**.
6. Select **Version 1.1** for the LTI version, and then click **SELECT**.  

The **LTI** configuration page opens.
7. Fill in the LTI details:
  - **Title**: Enter a title for your LTI integration.
  - **Description**: Enter a brief description for your LTI integration.
  - **Launch URL**: Copy the URL from the **Launch URLs** section of your Skillable Lab Profile, and paste it into this field.
  - **Consumer key**: Enter the Skillable-provided consumer key.
  - **Shared secret**: Enter the Skillable-provided shared secret.
  - **Privacy**: Use the checkboxes to set your privacy options. We recommend checking both the **Share launcher's name with the tool** and the **Share launcher's email with the tool** checkboxes.
  - **Completion**: Select **After receiving feedback from the external tool**.
  - **View mode**: Select a view option. We recommend selecting **New window**.
8. After filling in the LTI details, click **SAVE CHANGES**.

Your Skillable lab should now be listed in your Docebo training materials.

Learning Tools Interoperability (LTI) is an education technology specification developed by the IMS Global Learning Consortium. It specifies a method for a learning system to invoke and to communicate with external systems.

API Consumers store unique settings for each API call and use an API key for secure connections that enable the launch of labs and the retrieval of reporting analytics. Configured for Labs by admins, they serve as the bridge between your applications and Skillable Labs to enable a wide array of data integration and automation possibilities.

Labs in Skillable Studio are housed in a Lab Profile. The Lab Profile contains the information about the configurable settings and the virtual machines that make up a lab. For a Lab Profile to be published it must be part of a Lab Series.
