# Finding Training Keys Students Used for Classes

Enrollment Training Keys are unique codes handed out to each student to enroll into a Class. Used and unused keys can be found in several places, on the class profile by selecting the Training Keys link or from Find Enrollment Training Keys. To view training keys from Find Enrollments, add an output option for Payment Type.

## Find Enrollments

2. From the **Add filter** dropdown, select the filters to use.
3. On the **Find Enrollment Training Keys** page, on the right side, select **Output Options** and select the columns you would in the results.
4. Select **Search**.
5. You may select **Export** above the search results, all columns visible and the data will be exported to a .csv file in the sort order of the results.
6. Email a key to each student.

An enrollment is the student registration for a class. Enrollments have multiple statuses, but only the Enrollment Status of Enrolled gives a student access to class. Within the enrollment the student will access the labs and activities and if set up digital courseware and virtual classroom for their class.

A class is a scheduled instructor-led event with a start and end time/date. Typically, these include lectures and hands on activities such as labs.

A training key is a code given to students to be admitted to training and can also be used for them to create their own user accounts. Training keys can be used to create class enrollments, course assignments or subscription assignments.
