# Accessing Classes and Labs

You can set up your Classes at any time in the TMS. However, learners cannot access the labs until the first-class session begins. Learner access to labs is based on several factors in the TMS:

- The learner must have an enrollment in the class.
- The Enrollment Status must be set to **Enrolled**.
- The first session of class has started.

When learners register using **Training Keys**, they are automatically added as **Enrolled** in the class.

## Access Class and Labs

To access their class and labs, learners will:

1. Log into the TMS. They will land on their **Current Training** page. This page will display all their current enrollments as well as any saved labs they may have.
  1. Provide your learners with the URL you use to log into our TMS with.
2. Select the **name** of the class to open their enrollment.
3. Scroll to the **Activities** section where the labs are listed. Prior to class start, a countdown timer message shows when the labs will become available.
4. After class starts, Select the **Launch** button under each lab to start it.

If a student does not see the **Launch** button on the labs after class has begun, please try the following:

- Have them refresh their browser.
- Have them log out and back in.
- Verify that the **Enrollment Status** for the student on the class **Roster** is set to **Enrolled**.

If there are still access issues, contact our Platform Support team by selecting the **Contact** button on the top of any page in the Skillable TMS or reach out to our [customer support team](http://www.skillable.com/customer-support/) for assistance.

A class is a scheduled instructor-led event with a start and end time/date. Typically, these include lectures and hands on activities such as labs.

A training key is a code given to students to be admitted to training and can also be used for them to create their own user accounts. Training keys can be used to create class enrollments, course assignments or subscription assignments.
