# Enabling Microsoft Learn Courseware, Achievement Code and Metrics That Matter Access

Set up your Organization to receive achievement redemption for each completed Enrollment by entering your organization's Microsoft Learn Partner ID and Campaign Code on your Skillable TMS organization profile. Additionally, this will enable the ability to surface Metrics That Matter (MTM) survey links to your learners.

## Best Practices

With these settings enabled, Training Service Partners (TSPs) are able to provide easy access to the Microsoft Official Courseware on Microsoft Learn as well as assist in redemption of the Achievement Code to their learners through our Training Management System (TMS). Enabling these settings also enables the ability to report on whether a learner has utilized the functionality. Note that we are not able to provide reporting on whether an Achievement Code has been redeemed on Microsoft Learn.

## Student View of Microsoft Learn Courseware Access

You can surface direct links to the Microsoft Learn Courseware, Achievement Codes and Metrics That Matter Surveys to your learners on their enrollment page.

To ensure these features are available for your learners and instructors, they must be enabled on the organization profile in Skillable TMS.

**Organizational requirements in Skillable TMS**

For **Microsoft Learn Courseware** button, **Microsoft Learn Achievement Code** and **Metrics That Matter Survey**to show, you need to enable it on the organization profile in Skillable TMS.

1. Go to **My Organization** from the Site Administration Page.
2. On your organization page **edit** the profile.
3. Open the **Preferences** tab.
4. Under *Business Settings* enter your **Microsoft Partner ID** and **Microsoft Campaign Code**
5. If your organization uses a single **Metrics That Matter Survey**, enter it in the **MTM Survey Link**field. If your organization uses classes specific surveys, navigate to the bottom of the page for instructions.
  1. Metrics That Matter buttons will surface to learners 8 hours before the class is scheduled to end.

6. **Save**

When entering the Campaign code, please enter the code for creating the Microsoft Learn Courseware URL, exactly as it appears:

Please Note

Our system will automatically make the necessary adjustments to the Campaign Code when used to create the Achievement URL.

## Enabling Microsoft Learn Achievement Codes

To surface the button for learners on their enrollment page, you will need to supply the **root URL** when creating a class:

1. Create your **Class**
2. After selecting your course, a box labeled **Achievement Code URL** will display, enter only the **Root URL** from Microsoft Learn. The system will automatically complete the URL.

Do not include your Campaign Code or MPN Location ID here.

1. Finish entering your class information.
2. **Save**

Please Note

Skillable is only able to report on the activity if the learner selected the Microsoft Achievement Code button on their Class Enrollment page. Microsoft does not provide reporting if the learner redeemed their code in Microsoft Learn.

When set up properly, both buttons will appear to the student when the class start date and time are met.

### Enabling Metrics That Matter (MTM) Survey Links

To surface the **Metrics That Matter**button for learners on their enrollment page, you will, you will need to supply the full **Survey URL** when creating a class:

1. Create a **Class**
2. After selecting your course, a box labeled **MTM Survey Link** will display. Enter your Survey URL from Metrics That Matter to surface to your learners.
  1. Metrics That Matter buttons will surface to learners 8 hours before the class is scheduled to end.

An organization is assigned to each entity in the TMS, such as, users, classes, subscriptions, and courses. The organization is a basis to determine access given based on roles within the organization and management over the organization.

An enrollment is the student registration for a class. Enrollments have multiple statuses, but only the Enrollment Status of Enrolled gives a student access to class. Within the enrollment the student will access the labs and activities and if set up digital courseware and virtual classroom for their class.
