# Integrating Virtual Meeting Provider

You can easily use the virtual meeting provider of your choice to provide interactive virtual training solutions. Setting up a virtual meeting provider just takes a few steps; you can create training using your preferred virtual meeting provider in your classes. If you are using Teams, GoToMeeting, Adobe Connect, Zoom or another service, it can be used to give students and instructors access within a Class. This will give your instructors and students everything they need for their class from one page.

We also have a full integration into the Skillable TMS available using Adobe Connect and Zoom. The information below applies to any virtual meeting host.

## Enter your Meeting URL for your Class

It quick and easy to set up class access to your virtual meeting provider within a TMS class. All you need is the meeting URL to enter when you create a class. You can set the number of minutes prior to the class start time and after the class end time the instructor(s) and students can enter the virtual classroom.

When editing or creating your class,

1. Expand the **Delivery** section.
2. For **Delivery Type** choose **Virtual** or **Physical and Virtual**.
3. For **Virtual Meeting Host** select **Custom Virtual Classroom**, this opens additional fields to input the meeting URL and set the times the Enter Classroom button is available to users.
4. Input the **URL** from the meeting you have scheduled in your preferred virtual meeting provider.
5. Check the **Set Pre and Post Class Launch Access** box, this must be checked for the times to work.
6. In the **Instructor Pre-Class Launch Window** input the number of minutes before the class session start time(s) the instructor(s) can enter the virtual classroom.
7. In the **Student Pre-Class Launch Window** input the number of minutes before the class session start time(s) the students can enter the virtual classroom.
8. In the **Instructor Post-Class Launch Window** input the number of minutes after the class session end time(s) the instructor(s) can still enter the virtual classroom.
9. In the **Student Post-Class Launch Window** input the number of minutes after the class session end time(s) the students can still enter the virtual classroom.
10. Continue setting up your class or select **Save** to commit the changes.

If you do not set pre and post-class launch windows, then your instructors and students will see the Enter Classroom button immediately; with times entered, the Enter Classroom button is available based on your settings.

When students come to their Enrollment, they can enter the virtual meeting or open their labs. Selecting the Enter Classroom button directly adds them into the virtual meeting. If the meeting host has not started the meeting, they need to wait for the meeting to begin. The launch buttons for labs and Course Activities appear when class begins.

#### Creating User Accounts and Enrolling Students

We have several methods of creating user accounts and enrolling students. The simplest method is to provide each student with a training key; the key allows them to create a user account and enroll into class. User accounts can be created manually or imported. Once created the users can be enrolled as a group into your class.

[Creating Student User Accounts](/v1/docs/create-student-user-accounts-1) [Creating Multiple User Accounts](/v1/docs/create-multiple-user-accounts-at-once) [Enrolling Multiple Students](/v1/docs/enroll-multiple-students)

A class is a scheduled instructor-led event with a start and end time/date. Typically, these include lectures and hands on activities such as labs.

An enrollment is the student registration for a class. Enrollments have multiple statuses, but only the Enrollment Status of Enrolled gives a student access to class. Within the enrollment the student will access the labs and activities and if set up digital courseware and virtual classroom for their class.

Bundles together content to then be set up for training through classes, subscriptions, and course assignments. Courses can include labs, videos, SCORM, LTI, external links, assessments, and documents. Courses must be assigned to a Content Provider and a Publishing Group to be available to set up for training.

Activities are configured in the instructions editor and represented in the lab instructions by a replacement token. Activities fall into two broad categories: Questions and Automated.

- Questions are multiple choice or short answer questions.
- Automated Activities interact with the lab environment (Virtual Machine/Container/Cloud Platform).
