# Microsoft Storefront FAQ

## What content can I find on the [Microsoft Storefront](https://msft-ilt.skillable.com/)?

The Microsoft Storefront provides access to courseware for **Microsoft official** courses, **applied skills** courses, and **community**courses.

To access this content, [create an account](https://msft-ilt.skillable.com/create-an-account/) on the Storefront and log in.

## How long do learners have access to labs after a class ends?

Learners have access to labs for **180 days after a Class ends**.

For Courses that require tenants and/or Azure Passes, learners receive one tenant/Azure Pass per Enrollment. These resources are valid for the course duration and may allow post-class access.

If post-class access is allowed, learners must use their own credentials to continue working with labs.

## How many lab launches do learners receive?

Launch limits depend on the course configuration:

- **Courses labeled [Cloud Slice Provided]**: Learners receive 10 launches per Lab Profile.
- **Courses labeled [Azure Pass Provided]** or **courses without a label**: There are **no**launch limits.

## How do instructors access the labs to prepare for upcoming classes?

Instructors can access labs once they have been assigned to teach a class. To access the labs:

1. Sign in to Skillable TMS.
2. Open the class from either the Instructor Dashboard or the Instructor Calendar.
3. Select a class activity to open the lab launch page.

## I have a class starting today. How long does it take to set up a class and provide labs to students?

Purchases automatically sync to your Skillable TMS organization. This process can take up to one hour.

Once vouchers appear in the Available Vouchers section of the **Manage Class Vouchers** page, they are ready to schedule.

Setting up a class typically takes only a few minutes. After the class is created, you can provide Training Keys to students for immediate access.

## What happens if a student is a no-show?

Operations Managers can update the class roster during the **first two hours of the class**.

If a student does not attend and **has not launched any labs**, you can remove them from the class.

If a student needs to be removed from a class after the first two hours, contact Skillable Support for assistance.

Unused Class Vouchers for a class are automatically returned to you after the class ends.

## What should I do if I need to add more students to my class?

If you need to provide labs to additional students:

1. Purchase additional vouchers from the Storefront.
2. Wait for the purchases to sync to your account.
3. Open the class page and select **Class Training Keys**.
4. Select **Add Voucher**to assign the additional vouchers to the class.

Once added, the vouchers are available to assign to students.

## How long are vouchers valid for after purchase?

Vouchers are valid for **90 days after purchase**.

A class is a scheduled instructor-led event with a start and end time/date. Typically, these include lectures and hands on activities such as labs.

Bundles together content to then be set up for training through classes, subscriptions, and course assignments. Courses can include labs, videos, SCORM, LTI, external links, assessments, and documents. Courses must be assigned to a Content Provider and a Publishing Group to be available to set up for training.

An enrollment is the student registration for a class. Enrollments have multiple statuses, but only the Enrollment Status of Enrolled gives a student access to class. Within the enrollment the student will access the labs and activities and if set up digital courseware and virtual classroom for their class.

Cloud Slice is Skillable's proprietary technology that enables you to take a single cloud subscription and provide isolated access to a high volume of users at a single time.

Labs in Skillable Studio are housed in a Lab Profile. The Lab Profile contains the information about the configurable settings and the virtual machines that make up a lab. For a Lab Profile to be published it must be part of a Lab Series.

A training key is a code given to students to be admitted to training and can also be used for them to create their own user accounts. Training keys can be used to create class enrollments, course assignments or subscription assignments.

Class vouchers are used with Marketplace enrollment purchases. Vouchers sync to purchases on the Skillable Marketplace and are used to create classes with a set number of seats.
