    Enrolling Learners

    There are two different methods that are available for setting up your students within the Skillable TMS. You may either issue Training Keys, which allows students to self-register and self-enroll into class or you can set up your students' user accounts and enrollments for them directly in the TMS platform.

    Learner Self-Enrollment with Training Keys

    The simplest method of enrolling a learner into a class is to have your learner self-register into the class by providing them with training keys. This option is good for organizations who do not want to pre-create user accounts and distribute login credentials to their learners.

    To use training keys:

    1. Navigate to the Class page and select the Class Training Keys link. This will open a list of the class vouchers and training keys.

    2. Export or copy the training keys from this column. Each student will need one of these unique keys to self-enroll.

      Ensure you are providing the Class Training Key not the Voucher Code

    3. Send the training keys to the students with the following instructions to assist with their self-registration:

      1. Provide your learners with the URL you use to log into our TMS with.

      2. If you are a first time user-

        1. Select Register with Training Key.

        2. Input your training key in the Register with a Training Key field.

        3. Select Register.

        4. This opens the registration page to create a user account. Input your registration information and select Save. Your enrollment will then open.

        5. This opens your enrollment.

      3. If you are a returning user-​

        1. Select Sign In.

        2. Input your Username and Password and Select Sign In.

        3. You will be taken to your Current Training page. Select Redeem Training Key.

        4. Input your training key and Select Redeem Training Key.

        5. This opens your enrollment.

      d. Please launch a test lab to check for connectivity issues and to familiarize yourself with the lab interface. Once class starts, the Launch buttons will appear beside the labs.

      e. For assistance anytime, Select Contact on the TMS website or reach out to our customer support team for assistance.

    Learner Self-Enrollment with Vouchers

    Manual Enrollment

    You can also create enrollments manually for your learners for the class. If your learners do not have a user account yet, you will need to create one for them and share the account login details with them. Once an account has been created for the learner, you will need to enroll them into the class for them to get access to the labs. This allows you to have tigher control on who is added to classes within your organization.

    To add learners to a class:

    1. Navigate to the Class page.

    2. Select the Roster link.

    3. Select Add Students.

    4. Choose all the students you would like to enroll and then select OK.

    5. Select Save Changes button.

    Adding Additional Vouchers to a Class

    To increase the class size, you will need to add additional vouchers to the class.  If you do not have the vouchers in your pool, you will need to purchase them.

    1. After vouchers are purchased, navigate to the class page.

    2. Select Class Training Keys from the top ribbon.

    3. On the Class Training Keys page, select the Add Class Vouchers option and enter the amount of vouchers you'd like to add in the prompt.

    4. The prompt will show how many vouchers are available to add to the class.

    5. After you enter a number, select OK.

    The vouchers will be added and the class size will increase according to the number of Class Vouchers added.
