How Do I Resolve Cloud Subscription Issues?

Microsoft Azure Cloud Slice Subscription (CSS) labs provide the lab user access to administrative settings in the Azure Subscription, to allow training on administering Microsoft Azure. Subscriptions are provided to the lab environment and accessed using login credentials. Due to frequent changes in Microsoft Azure all subscriptions are set with an expiration, this ensures that permissions are up to date.

Best Practices for Preventing Log In Issues

  • Test your login credentials before the class, or before you plan to complete the lab.

  • When possible, copy and paste credentials from your Lab Instructions, instead of manually typing. This can help to prevent issues related to typos.

    • Some lab instructions may have the Type Text functionality added to text, to automatically enter text into your application. Depending on the application you are using Type Text to enter information into, you may encounter issues or errors. This issue is typically caused by the application using an autocomplete mechanism. If you encounter this issue, you can work around the issue here.

Report Issues to your Training Provider

If you experience issues with your Cloud Slice Access during your Lab instance, your training provider will need to provide assistance. Please reach out to your training provider with the following information:

  • Login credentials provided to you in the lab.

  • The lab instance ID for your lab. This can be found on the Help tab of your lab window.

  • Copy of error text or screenshot of any errors that occur in the lab.
