Overview
This article explains how to register for the Skillable Marketplace when purchasing courses for a team, including required enablement steps and expected timelines. It also covers how to purchase multiple seats and manage team access after checkout.
First-Time Registration
If you want to purchase courses for a team, the registration process includes several steps that require action from you and the Skillable Marketplace team. Throughout the process, you will receive email notifications at your registered email to keep you informed of your progress.
If you previously registered as an individual (not purchasing for a team) and now need team-purchasing capabilities, update your profile accordingly. See Updating User Profiles for more details.
If you are registering for the first time as a training manager, select Yes for Purchasing for a Team on the second screen of the registration process. After you complete your registration, you will receive three emails:
A request to confirm your email address
A welcome message to the Skillable Marketplace
A Workato notification explaining the necessity of the Skillable Marketplace Team's steps to complete the enablement steps
Since the Skillable Marketplace team performs actions on these steps manually, allow up to 5 business days for completion. The team monitors new registrations continuously, and enablement is often completed sooner.
Once enablement is complete, you will receive an email notification confirming that you can log in to the marketplace and complete your purchase.
Purchasing Multiple Seats
After you select a course and proceed to checkout, the marketplace prompts you to choose the number of seats to purchase. The dropdown menu supports selections from 1-20, but you can manually enter a higher number if needed.
If you proceed to the payment screen and realize you entered an incorrect seat quantity, remove the course from your cart and add it again with the correct number. This prevents accidentally purchasing the same course twice. To purchase additional courses, return to the catalog and repeat the process.
As the team administrator, you are responsible for adding users to your team and assigning course seats. For instructions, see the Adding Team Members and Assign Course Seats documentation.
